How we make money

weed.nz is independent. We don't sell cannabis, run product ads, or take payment to rank or recommend any clinic, brand or retailer. Where we mention clinics or products, it's for information only — our comparisons (like our clinic comparison) are factual and neutral, with no ratings, testimonials or pay-for-placement. We may add clearly-labelled affiliate links for legal-to-own gear (such as vaporizers) in future; we will always disclose them and they never influence our editorial position.

How we review and correct

Our law, medical, science and safer-use pages carry a visible “last reviewed”date and cite primary sources — the Misuse of Drugs Act 1975, the Medicinal Cannabis Agency (Ministry of Health), Pharmac, NZ Police, Waka Kotahi NZTA and Massey's NZ Drug Trends survey, among others.
